The Guardian released a brief to Falmouth University, asking students to design the cover of the clearing supplement. This cover should be positive giving students hope. With wanting to strengthen my illustration portfolio, I took this opportunity to play and do some illustrations to see what I came about.
I decided to focus on positive idioms. The idiom I chose being… When one door closes another one opens… I illustrated many open ornate doors with only one door closed, to symbolise how there are many more opportunities available and therefore the student shouldn’t get disheartened and should just look inside for support!
